Fantastic Rhythms: A Dance Odyssey (Koha entry)

Join Brazilian pianist Camila De Oliveira for a dance odyssey exploring the energy, passion, and poetry of dance-inspired music from Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Poland, and New Zealand. She will also be joined by Fidelio owner and cellist, Elgee Leung, for an exquisite selection of duos.

De Oliveira began her musical journey at the age of 6 and pursued her undergraduate studies in piano performance at the Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado in Brazil. She earned her postgraduate diploma in music and her Master's degree in Piano Performance at the University of Auckland, where she is currently completing her doctoral studies. She has been awarded the Llewelyn Jones Prize in Music for Piano at the University of Auckland in both 2019 and 2020, as well as the APO Aspiring Musician Scholarship in 2020.
