About the event
This workshop is designed for seasonal hospitality staff looking to deepen their knowledge of Marlborough wines and the New Zealand wine industry. In the first part, we will introduce the Marlborough wine region, known for its exceptional Sauvignon Blanc, and take a brief look at the history of the New Zealand wine industry. The second part will focus on developing sensory skills essential for wine service, equivalent to WSET Level 2, covering the basics of tasting, identifying key wine styles, and understanding how to communicate wine characteristics confidently. Perfect for anyone working at a cellar door, hospitality, or just keen to learn more about wine.
Private sessions can be arranged for larger hospitality teams upon request, in addition to the schedule workshop date.
